How the Perfect Tenant Program Works

The Perfect Tenant Program is a thoughtful rent-to-own solution that allows you to move into a home today while working toward full ownership. It is designed for responsible individuals and families who want to own a home but need extra time to strengthen their credit, save for a down payment, or overcome other financing challenges.

The 4-Step Perfect Tenant Process

Find Your Home

You choose any home you love anywhere in the United States. Work with your own realtor or one of our trusted partners. Once you select the property, we purchase it for you. This locks in the purchase price so it remains the same throughout the entire program.

Move In

After making a low initial deposit (typically around 3%), you move into the home right away. You become the resident and can treat the house as your own — decorate, furnish, and personalize it as you wish.

Save & Build Credit

While living in the home, a portion of your monthly payment is credited toward your future down payment. Our team supports you with:

  • Personalized credit education and score improvement
  • Budgeting coaching and financial guidance

This phase typically lasts 24 to 36 months and is designed to prepare you for successful homeownership.

Become a Homeowner

When you are ready (or at the end of the program term), you apply for a traditional mortgage. With your improved credit and accumulated savings, you purchase the home at the original locked-in price. You keep all the equity and any appreciation the home has gained.
